Optical brighteners tend to mask yellow tints (which is what they are actually meant to do). There were options for easy or advanced and I selected easy and let the wizard guide me through the entire calibration process. You should try papers without optical brighteners.

Yellow is a tricky color to reproduce faithfully in print. As hardware calibrator, I have used X-Rite ColorMunki Display, but the device is recognized as X-rite 1i Display Pro, which is a very similar product from X-Rite, and I got this message from True Color Pro saying that I sould re-connect the calibrator (Colormunki Display) to a different usb port, even though it is clearly connected and functional with its own software. Typical household lights are not bright enough, not linear enough and to warm. Right-click on the XRiteLinearProfile.icc profile and then left-click on Install Profile. Also, the viewing conditions of the print make a HUGE difference. All papers and all inks and combinations thereof have different gamuts, and profiling can only linearise within the given gamut. Well, one should not expect 100% equal perception.
